CellyBlue -- I do know this: Kamala Harris is doing everything right in this campaign.
Kamala Harris has run, in the short, very short time available to her, the very best campaign I have seen in my 76-year life since JFK in 1960.
I would easily compare Kamala Harris charisma with JFK, who, after Ike, appeared like a vigorous, intellectually vital leader carrying the torch of liberty into a new era.
She is that good.
In 1960, JFK and Jacqueline Bouvier were the fresh, new, highly cultured faces that promised a bright, intellectual future for America.
I am heartily grateful to Kamala Harris bringing vitality and promise, reminiscent of the New Frontier of optimism, learning, growth.
I just heard Stevie Nicks and Cheryl Crow "The Lighthouse". OMG: Watch this! Women are not going to "go back" -- a beautiful, powerful protest against the darkness brought on by the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision. Beautiful, powerful.
Kamala Harris represents the very best of her multicultural background -- from the Indian Subcontinent and Black culture -- the culture that is the backbone of all that is beautiful and good in this country. The Black culture that gave us some of our greatest writers, painters, SCIENTISTS, warriors (with tremendous leadership and heroic records in WWII), academics, long- very long history and evolution of music, and LEADERS (from MLK, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, JOHN LEWIS, the Obamas -- Michelle Obama equally with the President, Mr. Obama).
Speaking of which: Michelle Obama is one of our greatest speakers.
Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris represent some of the greatest forces for good in America.
And when the dark rhetoric would DIVIDE as spoken by Elitist, Ivy-League educated Aryan-Theorist JD Vance would denigrate Blacks and Latinos (the Blood Libel against Haitians and the "floating garbage" of Puerto Rico, these being only examples), one can feel purified and heartened by the beautiful visions of humanity, brotherhood, sisterhood of Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris.
No matter what happens next Tuesday, I vow that I shall do my little part to keep the Torch of Love and Liberty of Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris aflame like a beacon to continue to light our path of love of neighbor and "good trouble" (thanks to the dearly missed, dear man, John Lewis).
The civil rights leaders of today and our recent past, from the loveable man, John Lewis, through Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris -- these inspire us to stay faithful to the core values of equality, dignity of each person, and the freedom, safety, and healthcare of each woman and girl.
The Aryan JD Vance -- Harvard product!! -- holds rightwing theories of race blasted out of the waters a century ago by Franz Boas (1858-1942) -- long before the Nazis built an empire of death upon theories now embraced by the extreme fringe among Trump supporters -- Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and "Kill Tony" (I call him "Killjoy" -- Tony Hinchcliffe and his sick, sick, obscene attempts to degrade Latinos, including Puerto Rico).
We have rightwing obscenity on the one hand.
But we have leaders like Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris that can continue to inspire us to show love to each of our neighbors.
CellyBlue: You do important work, and yours is always among the first sources I look to. Thank you so very much for the love that you share.
