I acknowledge but cannot "like" the important information that you impart to your readers.This country has a long history of abusing immigrant labourers, from before the birth of this country thru the enslavement of Africans, forced immigrants, to the indentured servants who were pitted against each other by the rich white land holders. That legacy endures and now as before, white workers are pitted against immigrant workers for the benefit of the ruling class.

Brussels somehow keeps the country together, because it lies in Flanders (Dutch speaking Flemish) but it right next to Francophone Wallonia, and is largely French speaking.
In a terrible time in the 19th c., one of Belgium's Kings, Leopold, launched a genocidal war against Congolese. I have no idea what the pretext was, but the outcome was genocidal war killing one-million good persons.
Little Belgium did that.
Belgium that suffered under the Kaiser and even worse under the Third Reich. Of THAT I could talk all day, because it is the stuff over which a little boy in the 1950s was reared on his Mom's lap.
Look at the genocidal treatment of First Nation peoples.
Look at the traditional blood libel ("Jews steal your kids and stage a mock Mass during which they EAT them).
That blood libel is transferred by neo-Nazis onto Haitians ("look at Springfield Ohio. The Haitians still your kittens and puppies and stage a Voodoo service during which they EAT them).
And these are beautiful, often quite cultured, good decent persons.
It is an agony to see neo-Nazi politicians enflame the bigoted with incendiary, flame-throwing race-baiting.

I agree with you 100%. Humans have wonderful traits and evil traits. We can see this everywhere in the world. I pray there are more decent people than evil ones, yet the curse if dRump magats seem overwhelming at times. 😩🤬
