They Called them, the Courageous Eight! They were members of the Dallas County (Alabama) Voters League during the height of the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama. Some say the marches would never have happen without these eight fearless leaders who worked within their communities to empower disenfranchised African American citizens, and they did so through peaceful protest.
They were average citizens living their lives wanting that experience of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
